As a kick start of our programming year for 2022/2023, WACPF will hosted a one-day PeaceJam slam for  250 selected youth from the junior and senior high schools from the WA Municipality on November 5 2022. The Slam was under the theme: The Role of the Youth in Nation Building. During the November PeaceJam event, youth participated in a team building activities, service learning projects, and workshops on topics related to national development. The students also marched for peace to the WA traditional council and presented a communique to the WA NAA (Overlord in the region) outlining measures that can help to curtail the menace in the region. The event ended with a tree planting exercise at the traditional council to symbolize the Peace we yearn for the region. There was a need to bring PeaceJam to the region as young people have the capacity to change the narrative by spreading peace for development.
